Pay-as-you-go
A few things cost money each time they’re used, so they’re billed by use rather than built into everyone’s price. You only pay for what you use:
- Texts you send from MechOS, such as booking confirmations and reminders
- Rego lookups from a plate
- Marketing past the monthly allowance: campaign texts, bulk emails and AI
It’s added to your monthly bill, and Settings → Usage & Billing shows the rates and what you’ve used as you go.
Questions about pricing
Is GST included?
Yes. The $99 a month includes any GST that applies.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. You’re billed monthly and can cancel any time.
What happens after the free trial?
The trial is 14 days with everything switched on and no credit card. After it, add a card to carry on, or export your data and walk away.
Is there anything on top of the $99?
Only what you use. Texts sent from MechOS, rego lookups, and marketing sends and AI past the monthly allowance are pay-as-you-go, added to your monthly bill. Settings → Usage & Billing shows the rates and what you’ve used as you go.
What does the founding price mean?
The first workshops on MechOS get every feature for $99 a month and keep that price for as long as they stay, whatever happens to pricing later.
Do you charge per user or per branch?
No. Unlimited clients, vehicles, staff and branches are included.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Export everything first: Settings gives you a ZIP of every record and photo. If you then delete your workshop, it can be restored for 30 days; after that it’s permanently deleted, and backup copies are gone within a week. No quiet retention.
